POETIC ESCAPE is a monthly open mic sponsored by H.B.N.N. LLC. For over 4 years, Poetic Escape has been dedicated to providing a platform for locally and nationally recognized artists and an alternative space for young professionals to network, socialize and be invigorated by creative expression.
Hosted by Elie and Nuri, Poetic Escape is held on the 4th Wednesday of every month at the Blue Wave Lounge (343 Congress Street, Boston). The doors open at 8:30pm and typically includes both open mic and featured artist segments.
Since the tragic earthquake in Haiti occurred, partial proceeds from Poetic Escape have been donated to earthquake relief efforts.
